Granfondo Ghana is a bike race/sportive open to both professional racers and recreational cyclists covering 100km in distance with elevation gain of 1,200m starting and ending in Adenta through Dodowa and Somanya and crosses over to the Akuapim Ridge through the iconic 8km Apirede hill climb and through Mamfe and Aburi.
This event is open to all professional, recreational and amateur cyclists; both men and woman. This event is being held on OPEN PUBLIC roads and the Organisers cannot be held responsible for actions, accidents or incidents caused by other road users. If for any reason you feel unwell, unfit or unable to ride in a safe manner, you have to remove yourself from the event. It is mandatory to wear a helmet for this race and follow all instructions and directions given on the day by race marshals. Any unsafe behaviour will warrant automatic disqualification.
